To honor our Scottish heritage, our Cottage Pillows are slow-crafted with quality linen woven from Scottish Linen* in Fife, Scotland. The Cottage Pillows are then filled with felted sheep wool scraps (remnants from our hand-cut Montana Wool Dryer Sheets and Frontier Satchels as means to reduce waste), then handsewn with cotton thread for optimal comfort and contour. Each pillow is double-sided, so that it may be flipped offer to show a particular checkered pattern and better fit the aesthetic of your home throughout the seasons (see photos for reference). Each pillow measures approximately 17”x17” and weighs approx. 2lbs. (32oz).

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Spot clean or carefully handwash in cold water with a small amount of mild soap, then rinse in cold water and air dry. Do not wring as it may distort or stretch the woven pillow.

*Scottish Linen was the last remaining linen mill in Scotland, which permanently closed its doors in May, 2021, due to the effects of Brexit and COVID.. As a small business rooted in traditions and the textile industry, we decided to make their bittersweet closure a little sweeter by purchasing a few yards of their remaining linen inventory for our small batch fibercrafts, as well as embrace not only their nearly forgotten trade, but to rise in support of fibercrafts and our heritage a s a whole.
